Our Church Building

We celebrate the long and noble history our church building has in the town of Dedham, and how providence brought us to this place.

A Century in Mission Over Boston

This little stone building has stood in Dedham for over a century. The laying of the cornerstone for our beloved church building was celebrated on October 12th, 1907. At the ceremony, believers prayed:

"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we lay this Corner Stone for the foundation of a house to be builded and consecrated to the service of Almighty God..."

A Holy Legacy

Those who gave to this temple, from the beginning of the flock in Dedham Lower Plains, to the building fund in 1903, to the faithful congregations before us; they now reap a reward in the heavens, watching souls yet come to Jesus after more than a century of labor.

Solomon wrote that our lives are like flowers; we flourish but the wind blows and we are gone, forgotten. But our deeds carry into eternity. What we sow for His Kingdom lives with the Lord in eternity.

This temple has stood, stands, and will stand. One day, when we leave this earth, may it continue to be a missionary in this land.
